01The usual problem
You paid for a website two years ago. Now every small change needs a developer, and the site gets slower every month.

04Overview
Sanjeev Singh is a freelance WordPress developer in Lucknow, India, building software since 2016. He builds custom WordPress themes, Elementor and Divi sites and WooCommerce stores for businesses in the UK, the US, the UAE and Australia. Every project starts with a fixed written quote within 24 hours, and the client owns the code, the domain and every login from day one.
Hiring a freelance WordPress developer in India gives you senior experience at a lower cost than most UK or US agencies, without the hand-offs. The same person takes the first call, writes the code and answers after launch. Sanjeev is online Monday to Saturday from 10 AM to 11 PM India time, which covers the UK working day, New York mornings and the whole UAE day.
Most of his work is custom WordPress themes built with ACF, where each section of a page is filled in from simple fields. Your team can add pages and change content without breaking the layout, and the site loads only the code its design needs. When a page builder suits the project better, he builds in Elementor, Divi or another visual builder instead, and says so in the quote.
Recent WordPress work includes Technest, a Dubai security company whose dated Elementor site became a bilingual English and Arabic theme with 14 editable layouts; DataDrone, a B2B site with seven solution pages and a library of 105 resources; and Syncglim, a WooCommerce catalog for a Chinese factory in ten languages. Clients rate his work 5.0 on Fiverr across 23 reviews.
A typical WordPress project takes one to six weeks, depending on the number of page templates, integrations and languages. Each site is checked against Google’s Core Web Vitals on a phone before launch: LCP under 2.5 seconds, INP under 200 milliseconds and CLS under 0.1. Redesigns keep their search rankings through 301 redirects for every old URL, kept titles and schema markup.
Payment is in US dollars against milestones agreed in the quote, so you only pay for a stage after you have seen it on a staging site. This model suits small and mid-sized businesses, startups and agencies that need white-label WordPress development, as well as anyone whose current developer has stopped replying.

Sanjeev brought extraordinary technical knowledge to the project. He communicated professionally, shared clear updates, discussed every hurdle openly and always found a practical way forward. I was very happy working with him.
Sanjeev understood what our old website was missing and rebuilt it into a modern platform that represents Technest properly. He was responsive, handled feedback quickly and made the whole process easy for our team.
Sanjeev has been instrumental across several projects. He understands the vision from very little direction, then brings commitment, technical skill and original thinking to turn it into a finished product.
Working with Sanjeev was a great experience.

Both can produce a good-looking site. The difference shows up later, in speed, editing and what it costs to change things.
| Custom theme | Page builder (Elementor, Divi) | |
|---|---|---|
| Page weight | Only the CSS and JS the design uses | The builder’s own CSS and JS loads on every page |
| Editing | Fixed fields and sections, hard for anyone to break the layout | Drag and drop anything, easy for the layout to drift |
| Core Web Vitals | Easier to keep LCP under 2.5 s and CLS under 0.1 | Possible, but usually needs caching and optimisation plugins |
| Lock-in | Content stays in standard WordPress fields | Content is stored in builder shortcodes or JSON, painful to move |
| Upfront cost | Higher | Lower |
| Best for | Business sites that should last 3+ years | Short-lived landing pages, very tight budgets |
If your site is your main source of leads, a custom theme usually pays for itself in speed and fewer redesigns. If you need a page live this week for a campaign, a builder is fine. I build both, so this advice doesn’t change what I sell you.
Ask these before you hire anyone, me included. A good developer answers them in a sentence or two.

13How we work
A short call on goals, audience and what success looks like.
Scope, timeline and price agreed in writing before work starts.
Working pages shared early on a staging link, refined with your feedback.
Go-live, speed and SEO checks, then handover. You own the code, domain and accounts.
14Questions
It depends on the number of page templates, integrations and languages. I send a fixed written quote within 24 hours of a short call, so the price is agreed before any work starts.
Yes, when it suits the project. I’ve built and fixed sites in Elementor, Divi and other visual builders. For a business site that should last, I usually recommend a custom theme. Your team still edits visually through ACF fields, and the site loads only the code it needs. You choose.
You do. The theme code, domain, hosting and all accounts are yours from day one.
Yes. I map every old URL, set up 301 redirects and keep your titles and content, so rankings carry over to the new design.
Anywhere from one to six weeks, depending on the project: the number of page templates, integrations and languages, and how quickly content is ready. The written quote gives your exact timeline, and you see progress on a staging link from the first week.
I invoice in US dollars, wherever you are, against milestones agreed in the quote. You don’t pay for a stage until you’ve seen it on the staging site.
Video calls, WhatsApp and a short written update every working day. I work until 11 PM India time, which covers London and Amsterdam afternoons, New York mornings and the whole UAE working day.
Yes. I build and deliver WordPress projects for agencies behind the scenes, under an NDA, on your staging and your process. Your client only ever sees your agency.
